I have a question for the Concerned Tribal Employee . . . two questions actually. When you told the Texas writer that you were glad he or she "wouldn't be around," were you referring to the current Administration's plan to purge the rolls of anyone who is less than one fourth Osage blood? And when you followed up by remarking that you specifically were glad he or she wouldn't be around to act on the real decisions to be made regarding the future of the Osage Nation, were you then referring to the current administration's plan to recapture the Mineral Estate and redistribute the headright shares to those who survive the enrollment cut? I heard there's to be a meeting in Albuquerque this Thursday, between our current Osage leader(s) and Ross Swimmer (a Department of Interior Official) to discuss the Bureau's opinion on just that game plan. Just wondered if you were "in the loop."
