Beautiful! Apparently you are having some difficulty with understanding the concept of transparency as it concerns the form of government that you have just voted into being. What that means is that all government employees and what they do in office from the Chief on down are now subject to review in an open and transparent way so that the citizens of the Osage Nation can judge whether their interests are being properly and adequately served. You, and all other employees of the Tribe, are now subject, under the new Constitution to the “will of the Osage people” and are public servants to each and every member of the tribe. What happens in government from now on is very much indeed OUR BUSINESS. You have a pass on that meeting as it happened prior to the Tribal Council issuing the resolution adopting the new Constitution into law. After the 15th day of March, however, when the Council signed Resolution 31-1531 into law, everything in regard to governance has now shifted and is at the behest of the Osage people. I don’t have a problem with you having your cake and eating it too. Just don’t plan on eating the crumbs from the old piece of cake otherwise known as the Resolution form of Government. You can’t have it both ways. I have nothing whatsoever to get over. You, on the otherhand, appear to have a few issues that require immediate attention in regard to your current employment in the new government. Primary is to come to an understanding of how it actually works.
