One of our Tribal members (a very respected Osage elder) was telephoned today by the office of one of our current government officials and accused of circulating false messages (specifically, the messages concerning enrollment audits and loss of headrights), as well as "masterminding" this website. The elder I speak of does not even own a computer and has never composed, sent, circulated, posted, or read a single email message in the course of this debate. I am not going to post any more messages here because 1) I am afraid and I can't put my family in harm's way and 2) I don't want this website to be put in jeopardy either. However, I will continue to read the emails that others compose and I wish us all the best. Signing off . . .
