And for those of you who have headrights, a 1978 Act of Congress says non-Osages get only a life estate interest. After that, the headrights can be acquired by Osages or they revert to the Tribe. There is an Oklahoma Supreme Court case stating that something more than "any quantum of Osage blood" is required to be Osage; that something more is probably tribal membership. So, headrights are on the line here. I knew there was a plan . . .
