After studying the election results, it seems the people who voted in Pawhuska were evenly divided as to the yes and no votes. The absentee vote presented the winning margin the committee needed. It seems all the mailings, full page ads, newsletters worked to convince those voting that this was the only option available to us....a take it or lose it message. The very idea that those asking for clarity and revision were labeled as those who wanted NO constitution is just wrong. Everyone wanted a solid document. The many mailings I received from the commission were an indication that there was no lack of funds being thrown at the electorate to convince us that this was a must-win situtation. Thanks to your website, many were able to voice their concerns. We thank you for trying so hard to share genuine concerns with the people. You are appreciated.
