Now that the glorious work of the Osage Government Reform Commission has been fulfilled, will the organization be disbanded, jobs dissolved, and affairs wound up? I hear that a "transition team" is planned, which would continue the Commission's work into the future. Typically, a "winding up" also includes a public accounting of all funds expended during the organization's existence. Can we look forward to such a public accounting, which we formally and officially requested in January? We're still waiting on that one. I am particularly interested in expenditures related to out of state travel to CA and TX, drafting retreats in swank hotels in the Tulsa area (even though many Commissioners in fact live in the Tulsa area), and ads placed in various newspapers, particularly the NATIVE AMERICAN TIMES, which is owned (at least in part) by our Chief?
