Here is a letter I had to send to try and make sure my daughters, neices and nephews votes count. Tuesday, March 7, 2006 Attention of Hepsi And Amy Nefus Dear Hepsi, Please see the following 3 birth certificates for my family. I would suspect with this information they should also finally receive Osage Membership cards. Timothy Reger- son of Cynthia “Easley” Howell Jessica Howell- daughter of Cynthia “Easley” Howell Megan Clontz- daughter to Debbie “Easley” Clontz- Paukert All of us are from my dads census roll # 1561- Loren Kenneth Easley I am sending copies of the card, my membership card and anything else I have Justin Easley- son of Michelle Easley . Michelle will fax you his as I do not have it. Justin and Tim both received ballots, neither Jessica or Megan did. Jessica has shown proof that she faxed her request for absentee ballot by refaxing you today. I faxed Megans from my house and did not request it to give me a transmission received report. I did however look up my long distance charges and locate the day and time that I sent Tim Regers and Megan Clontz’ request for absentee ballot. Having said that and faxed all this both Megan and Jessica should be over nighted their ballots. I will be more then happy to pay the fees to have them over night their ballots back so they can be received in time in Pawhuska. Please call me as soon as you receive the information. Nothing is to early. My number is 209 . Thank you all for understanding how important it is that those that wish to vote get a fair chance to do so. I did sign up all the kids with Peaches at the meeting held in Oakland in October. She was suppose to add them to the membership. Not once were we told that copies of the cards and copies of birth certificates would be needed. I knew only send a copy of the card when I had the kids fax their requests for absentee ballots. What did Peaches do with this very private information that was given to her? Why were the kids not notified that this additional information would be needed. I would now if they had as some of their mail comes to my house. Just some questions that need to be answered after we make sure their votes, mine and my sisters votes all count! Respectfully, Debbie “Easley” Clontz-Paukert 209
